The Heart of Judism for Me is Jesus Teachings

My journey to Judism was not easy. After many baptisms starting by age 12 years old, I felt something was missing in my life. I attended many churches and always had trouble singing in a church. I always knew I would be a singer.

When asking God for a husband, I heard a voice say "Now will you sing for me? " I was so surprised, I immediately replied I will be married to God until I marry (the one I had asked for.)

Silence.....It took 28 years of faithfulness of keeping my promise to be married to God to realize that I would never be married to the one I had asked for, for what seems now like obvious reasons.

I was a life long Christian and the more I learned about Jesus' teachings, the more questions I had about the teachings in the New Testament. I tried to understand what God was trying to tell me.

Of the many conflicts in the New Testament teachings, Jesus was clear that he gave the example of what we needed to do. Worship God, do as Moses told us to do, and to love one another.

The hardest discovery after many years of teaching was the discovery that Jesus was 100% Jewish the day he was murdered. When I would read about Moses and the Old Testament teachings and prophets, the more I understood what Jesus was trying to tell us.

Worship belongs only to God. That is the end of the matter for me.

Jesus taught me that no man is good. That is hard for me as I still long for a husband. The light in this world is darkness because of God has been replaced by a religious system that says we can do what we want, when we want, as long as we worship a man.

I'm over it. The day I proclaimed my Jewish heart, my true light returned, My heart is on the mend, and now I know what to look for in a husband. He must see with my eyes and love with my heart.

I am learning everyday from my Jewish community. I am excited to finally be home in my heart, and look forward to the light of happiness to remain like an eternal flame.

Jesus taught me to Worship God. GOD is Spirit. Jesus taught me that worship of God begins in our hearts. Jesus taught me that the laws and commandments were given to us so we don't worship other things like money, people, and we must worship in Spirit and in truth. And spirit that says we are to worship a man, woman, building or any other thing is NOT a spirit sent by God no matter what you call it. .
